Quoi de plus normal, à l’occasion de la journée des enfants, que de vous révéler les chiffres de ventes U.S du troisième opus de la si populaire série vidéoludique, Skylanders !? En plus de ces chiffres sur Skylanders Swap Force, VG Chartz dévoile par ailleurs les scores réalisés par Pokémon X et Y pour leur deuxième semaine de commercialisation –toujours aux USA- de même que les ventes enregistrés par la 3DS, en tête dans toute les zones du globe à l’occasion de cette semaine du lundi 14 au samedi 19 octobre 2013.

Skylanders Swap Force entrait donc en scène aux USA il y a peu et l’on peut dire que ces débuts se sont avérés plutôt solides. La version Wii enregistre les meilleures ventes avec près de 107 000 copies écoulées et la quatrième place dans les charts, juste devant le volet Xbox 360 (plus de 77 000 ventes). Suit, les versions PS3 avec 41 000 exemplaires (9^ème du classement) et Wii U avec un peu moins de 20 000 jeux écoulés (19^ème des charts). Skylanders Swap Force 3DS ferme la marche avec quelques 14 000 ventes et le 23^ème rang au classement.

En tête de ces meilleures ventes, Pokémon X et Y confirme sa place de leader lors de sa seconde semaine de commercialisation avec environ 635 000 cartouches écoulées (plus de 2 millions au total), tandis que GTA V complète le podium grâce aux versions Xbox 360 et Playstation 3 dans cet ordre. Côté nouveautés, Valhalla Knights 3 sur PS Vita s’invite à la 31^ème place des charts.

En termes de ventes de hardware, la Nintendo 3DS siège au premier rang (environ 95 000 consoles vendues), suivie par la Xbox 360 (37 000), la Playstation 3 (33 000) et la Wii U (29 000) qui s’accroche en attendant de nouvelles sorties software. Rendez-vous d’ici quelques heures pour les chiffres de ventes en Europe. En attendant, place à l’intégralité du classement software publié par VG Chartz.
